ResoSphere is a handcrafted circular xylophone that fuses teak wood with copper pipes, creating a rich blend of warm and bright tones. Its design has since been officially registered as intellectual property with India's National Research Development Corporation.
The design draws from Indian craft traditions while exploring how material properties shape sound. Precision-cut slits create controlled vibrations, while copper adds chime-like overtones.
Every component was hand-shaped, from the teak body to the tuned copper pipes, a process that took weeks of iterative refinement.
